BOCA RATON, Fla. – Boca Raton Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, celebrates 90 years as Boca Raton’s premiere resort with rotating festivities for guests to enjoy throughout the year. Since the 20’s, the resort has seamlessly blended its historic past with modern luxury additions and unforgettable experiences, including the Surf Boca surf school, FlowRider wave simulator, and Maserati house cars.

Guests staying at the resort in 2016 will not only enjoy luxurious accommodations, gourmet dining, and family-friendly activities, but may also learn about the resort’s storied history through a variety of engaging initiatives. Upon entering their rooms, guests will be greeted with postcards containing little known historical facts and images of the property. Guests will also be invited to download an app offering a self-guided historical tour of the resort. (Fun fact: Addison Mizner would purposely crack the resort’s decorative tiles to create a more historic ambiance.)

Among many celebratory initiatives taking place throughout the year are 90 dollar spa specials at the resort’s Waldorf Astoria Spa, one of which is a 50-minute Traditional Ritual Bath followed by a 25 minute massage. Food and beverage enthusiasts will enjoy a glimpse back in history with commemorative food and beverage specials. The resort’s Monkey Bar will debut a limited-time cocktail menu featuring cocktails that emerged during the prohibition era and lasted through the generations, much like the Boca Raton Resort & Club. The Palace, named for the resort’s nickname “The Pink Palace,” is one of the standout cocktails on the new menu. Hearkening back to prohibition times, the pink-hued cocktail consists of Belvedere vodka, Aperol, St. Germain, and Veuve Clicquot.

History buffs will appreciate interesting artifacts from the 20’s and 30’s that will be on display throughout the resort. Through a partnership with the Boca Raton Historical Society, these artifacts will be on loan, giving guests a peek into area’s past. Guests staying at the resort in 2016 can also enjoy vintage candy for sale in famed ice-cream shop Serendipity, 90 dollar floral specials, novelty photo booths, a 90 dollar room rate flash sale, and more.

Guests of Boca Raton Resort & Club, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, are treated to True Waldorf Service, which assigns a personal concierge to each guest.  This personal concierge acts as the guest’s primary contact before, during, and – an industry first – after a stay, guaranteeing every desire and request is fulfilled.
