OTTAWA, ONTARIO – InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened the newly-renovated 261-room Holiday Inn Ottawa East hotel in Ottawa, Ontario, after a $9 million renovation funded by hotel ownership. Formerly the Chimo Hotel, this property joins six other IHG hotels located nearby including the Hotel Indigo Ottawa and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ottawa Airport. The hotel is centrally located and offers easy access to the airport and main highways. Additionally, guests are minutes away from the Ray Chabot Grant Thornton Baseball Stadium, St. Laurent Shopping Centre, Via Rail Station and Ottawa MacDonald-Cartier International Airport.
