MCLEAN, VA — The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner is undergoing an extensive upgrade this summer. The Redefinition — whose design inspiration hails from Europe’s elegant boutique hotels — will extend to all 398 guest rooms, suites, and the Club Lounge, in an effort to enhance the overall guest experience. The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner expects to be ready to unveil its new guest rooms this fall, just in time for the luxury hotel’s 25th anniversary.
Affectionately referred to as “the living room” of Tysons, The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner has been at the center of the Northern Virginia community not only for business, but as the go-to weekend getaway location for families to celebrate time-honored traditions and create unique and unforgettable memories. As the Tysons Corner area evolves to become a true cosmopolitan center, the hotel is poised to continue to represent luxury and serve the community.
“As the preferred luxury hotel in Northern Virginia, we have a proud history of delivering the utmost level of sophistication and personal service for our guests,” said Rajesh Khubchandani, general manager, The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner. “Our focus is to refine that experience even further, so we can continue to celebrate both old and new memories with our guests from near and far for many years to come.”
Inspired by a desire to blend comfort and elegance with fashion and couture, the design — developed by Wimberly Interiors — mixes the traditional foundation of the luxury hotel with more transitional pieces that feel modern and fresh. The rooms and corridor will envelope the guest in inviting, sensual colors including a deep charcoal palette infused with blues, green and purples. The new club lounge will embody the feel of a stylish, rich library and open up the space to take advantage of the beautiful D.C. skyline views. As a way to truly celebrate the geographical and historical elements unique to Northern Virginia, the selected artwork will consist of a mix of mediums, all inspired by the area’s lush surroundings.
In addition, the guest rooms are being redesigned with the business traveler in mind so individuals can work more easily and comfortably. This includes the latest technology, thoughtful placement of electrical outlets and USB ports, Nespresso coffeemakers, and plush, oversized chairs that are designed for work and relaxation. New smart televisions will be equipped with an interactive directory, and streaming options for enhanced entertainment.
During the upgrades, the hotel will remain fully open and available to guests wishing to visit overnight, dine at Entyse, Wine Bar & Lounge, or indulge at The Ritz-Carlton Spa. To book a reservation, please call (703) 506-4300.
