The SLS Las Vegas Hotel and Casino is no longer affiliated with Hilton’s Curio Collection. According to VegasInc, the SLS and Hilton mutually agreed to end their relationship this month.
The SLS opened in August 2014 in Las Vegas following a $415 million renovation of the former Sahara Hotel and Casino. The property has struggled in its location on the North end of the Vegas Strip and has reportedly lost over $85 million this year.
Hilton welcomed the SLS in September 2014 as part of its new Curio Collection of independent hotels which allowed for bookings on the Hilton reservation system and for guests to receive Hilton Honors points.
The SLS Las Vegas has over 1,600 guest rooms and suites. There are also SLS hotels in Beverly Hills and South Beach.
